The spa experience is unique for each person. Spa caters to people who
want to improve their mind, body and spirit. Whether you want to
relieve muscle tension or strains, retreat from daily stress, or simply
relax with soothing and pampering treatments. Spaboutique has suitable
services that can cater to your needs. However, if this is your first
visit to a spa, there is no need to fret. Here are some guidelines and
etiquette which you can take note of before visiting us.
before your
treatment
 |
Give us a call at
+65 6887 0760 to book your appointment in advance and feel free to
enquire (i.e. price range, type and details of treatments) before you
arrive. Our friendly guest relations officer will be more than happy to
answer your queries, suggest appropriate treatments and put you at ease
before you visit us. Credit card number is required to secure your
reservation.
|
 |
Jewellery, watches
and accessories should be removed before treatment. Kindly remove all
accessories and jewellery in the dresser provided before beginning your
treatment. The spa, however, takes no responsibility for any loss of
items.
|
 |
Spaboutique has
jacuzzis and steam baths for cleansing and relaxation purposes. If you
are unsure of how to use these facilities, please do not hesitate to
ask the spa therapists.
|
 |
You are welcome to
take a quick shower at the spa before your treatment, as this will
allow the essential oils and concoctions to absorb well and provide
their best effects.
|
 |
Cell phones, pagers
and other beeping devices should be switched to silent mode or turned
off. Loud conversations are also discouraged as the spa environment is
meant to be tranquil and peaceful.
|
 |
Do come at least 15
minutes earlier so as to get yourself prepared for your treatment at
the spa. Late arrivals will result in shorter treatment duration in
order to accommodate the next appointment.
|
 |
As a standard
practice in the industry, a minimum of 4 hours' notice is required for
cancellations or changes in appointments to avoid being charged in full
for any scheduled appointment not attended.
|
during your
treatment
 |
If you have
questions or would like to talk during the treatment, you are welcome
to do so. The therapists take their cues from you. If you’re
quiet, they will be too.
|
 |
Your therapist may
leave your treatment room for a few moments (once or twice during your
treatment) either to prepare concoctions or to let you have some time
alone. Rest assured that they will make sure you are comfortable with
your surroundings and will inform you before they leave the room.
|
 |
If your
therapist’s touch is too firm or too light – speak
up! Also, tell your therapist if the temperature of the room bothers
you. If you have a particular injury or physical condition, explain it
to the therapist. They can suggest the appropriate adjustments or
enhancements to treatments.
|
 |
If you feel
uncomfortable during a treatment, please inform the therapist and see
if she can resolve your problem. Otherwise, please feel free to ask for
the spa manager or person-in-charge if you need assistance.
|
 |
We reserve the
right to refuse service without further explanation to anyone who
appears to be under the influence of alcohol and other substances, or
display of unacceptable behaviour.
|
after your treatment
 |
As a spa guest, you
are welcome to stay at the spa as long as you like. The reception
lounge and outdoor cafe area are made available for your resting needs.
|
 |
It is recommended
to drink a lot of water following a massage to help flush the toxins
that were released into your system during the treatment.
|
 |
Washrooms are
typically stocked with toiletries to help you freshen up before you
leave the spa.
